From the recording Touched By The Sun

Words and music by Roger Drawdy

I watched as she walked from the distance into my heart
And I offered no resistance right from the start
She’s brought me a beauty
And I’d never seen it before
Kissed by a moonbeam, touched by the sun

I knew in an instant she was the one
Like a shadow was lifted and the light of a new world begun
Caught in a daydream with eyes wide and open for once
Caressed by the rain and touched by the sun

Whenever I see her I want her more
Each time I’m with her it feels like the first one

I feel her beside me here in the dark
Musing in soft gentle silence and a drifting melodious song
Endless and ageless, stillness and motion brushed by the flame
Touched by the sun
